Exit on Slaughter Lane (227). Go West on Slaughter lane (Right at signal, if coming from North/Central Austin. Left, if coming from South of Exit 227). In roughly 0.5 miles, take left on 1st Street (Landmark: Shell gas station on your right side and Auto Parts on your left). Keep going on 1st Street for a mile. Akins School is on your left.

Mo-Pac Route:
Exit on Slaughter Lane. Go East on Slaughter lane (Left at signal if coming from North/Central Austin. Right, if coming from South). You'll cross Brodie Ln & Manchaca Rd and arrive at 1st Street (Landmark: Auto Parts will be on your right side and Shell gas station on your left). Take right at 1st Street. Keep going on 1st Street for a mile. Akins School is on your left.
